Growing up, Brady's family had moved across the country 6 times before he even turned 10. After bouncing around for years, they ended up back where they started. Oakland County, Michigan. After a short stint at Central Michigan University, Brady knew staying in college wasn't the future for him. So, he began learning the marketing industry, hoping to be able to build his own business. After learning it would probably take longer than a couple weeks (like he hoped), he put it on the back burner as he focused on more 'immediate concerns'.
Shortly after his year at CMU, he packed up his dog and girlfriend (pictured) and took a job as a personal trainer in Fort Wayne, IN. It was in that small, one-bedroom apartment where he decided it was time to refocus his efforts. He spent any spare moment he had building 'Rook Marketing', named from his love of chess. Returning to Michigan early 2025, he was able to continue building Rook and bring in a team to handle bigger projects. After another year of hard work (and a couple name changes), The Quill Company was founded.
